Equipment

  • Popsicle Mold + Popsicle Sticks
  • Food Processor or Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • ½ can (7 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp orange liqueur, optional
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ lb strawberries, washed, hulled and pureed

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the cream, sweetened condensed milk, orange liqueur and vanilla extract.
  • Whisk together 1/2 cup of the cream mixture with the orange juice, then pour into the popsicle molds.
  • Whisk together the remaining cream mixture with the pureed strawberries. Pour into the popsicle molds, letting the orange layer and strawberry layer swirl together a bit.
  • Place the lid on your popsicle molds and insert popsicle sticks.
  • Freeze the creamsicles until solid, about 6-8 hours. Once frozen through, unmold the creamsicles. Wrap the creamsicles individually in wax paper, then store in a freezer bag or airtight container.
