a few things to note…
- I typically respond to emails during the week within 1-3 days, but may take longer, depending on my schedule as well as life events. Please don’t expect an immediate response.
- I don’t respond to emails on weekends or US holidays.
- This is a one-person business, not a 24/7 call center or a baking hotline. If you’re needing urgent help with your baking, King Arthur Baking has a baker’s hotline, because, you know, they’re a multi-million-dollar company with employees that they keep on staff.
- I may choose not to respond to emails that are rude, entitled or offensive.
- If you ask me how you should adjust one of my recipes for your specific altitude, I’m going to suggest you read my FAQS, if you haven’t already. There is so much information provided there, as well as links to articles with guidelines on how to adjust ingredients for various altitudes.
- I usually don’t respond to emails inquiring about custom cakes or catering services (these are not services I offer), or to provide a high altitude version of your family’s recipe for your favorite cake or cookies, or for a copy-cat version of that dessert you love from your favorite restaurant.
- If you are looking for a specific recipe that you don’t see on my website, I am always open to input and suggestions, and may add it to my list of recipes to test and develop in the future.
